Dr Kevin has a very passionate interest in Occupational Health, he has extensive knowledge and expertise in the field, He is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME), EMO and SMO for the Department of Resources, Mining, and Energy and also AMA for many other companies. He is also acknowledged by the Occupational Health and Safety unit in Brisbane.

Dr Kevin is also a member of the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME) and practices as a certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME) performing independent medical and impairment evaluations. Independent medical examinations (IMEs) are an important component of workers’ compensation systems and are also used to clarify other disability or liability associated cases.

• Chest Xray ILO with B Reader coordination and reporting
• Dust Surveillance and monitoring

We are also an accredited Spirometry practice which means the GP and Nurses have all been provided with comprehensive additional training which gives you a more detailed report, this is the only acceptable Spirometry for Coal Board medicals and we are the only practice on the Gold Coast that is accredited and able to provide this service.

Our Functional Capacity Evaluations can be completed with or without an exercise physiologist whom we do have on site.

We have 2 x Occupational Health trained nurses onsite and a designated Occ Health Nurses room to conduct your tests. We have also installed a Hearing Booth, which is calibrated annually as per Australian standards and regulations.

Our services are not limited to the above, we are very eager to expand all areas of our Occupational Health clinic, should there be a service you would require from us we would be very interested in learning and expanding our knowledge to enable us to provide you with such services.

Michigan Drive Medical Practice is located in Oxenford, just off the M1 (near Movie World). We are located within a Medical Precinct and have ample parking for our customers.
