Effective Thursday 1^st December 2022 Michigan Drive Medical Practice will be a mixed billing practice.

Pensioner Card Holders, HCC Holders, DVA and patients under 16 years will continue to be bulk billed. Please present your Medicare Card before each consultation.

Short Level A consult

Fee – $ 38.95

Medicare Rebate – $ 18.95

Out of Pocket – $ 20.00

Standard Level B consult

Fee – $ 81.40

Medicare Rebate – $ 41.40

Out of Pocket – $ 40.00

Antenatal Consult

Fee – $ 91.90

Medicare Rebate – $ 51.90

Out of Pocket – $ 40.00

Long Level C consult

Fee – $ 135.10

Medicare Rebate – $ 80.10

Out of Pocket – $ 55.00

Prolonged Level D consult

Fee – $ 188.00

Medicare Rebate – $ 118.00

Out of Pocket – $ 70.00

Making Payments

Payment is required on the day of the consultation and can be made by cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card (excluding Diners and AMEX cards).

Appointments

Walk-ins
We normally require people to make a booking but we can sometimes help if you walk into the medical centre. Priority is given to people who have made a booking.

Appointments
Our appointment system caters for urgent, non urgent, complex, planned chronic care and preventative healthcare. If you need more time with your GP, please book a long consultation. Urgent appointments will be seen by the next available GP. Please advise reception if you believe you require an urgent appointment. Urgent appointments will be triaged by the nurse on duty. 

Waiting Times
Sometimes GPs are delayed by patients with urgent or complex issues. We apologise if you’re asked to wait and thank you for your patience.

After Hours
For appointments out of hours, please call 13SICK on 13 74 25.

Home Visits
If you are a regular patient and can’t travel to the medical centre, your GP may be able to visit you at your home. This is at the discretion of your GP.

Please call Triple Zero (000) or go to your nearest hospital.
