Dr Kevin Naicker

Dr Kevin completed a Bachelor of Science degree (Microbiology/Physiology) at the University of Durban-Westville. He graduated as a medical doctor at the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine and practiced as a general practitioner in his own medical practice. He also worked and as a Police Doctor in South Africa. He migrated to Australia in 2004 with his family. He completed his fellowship exam, in Australia and currently practices as a specialist GP. His main interest is Occupational health, dermatology, neuropharmacology and family health.
He is a EMO and SMO (DNRME) for many companies and is also acknowledged by the Occupational Health and Safety Unit in Brisbane – Tel: (07) 324 74642
He is also a member of the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME) and now practices as a Certified Independent Medical Examiner, (CIME) performing independent medical and impairment evaluations. Independent medical examinations (IMEs) are an important component of workers' compensation systems, and are also used to clarify other disability or liability associated cases.

Dr Naicker is also a DAME Designated Aviation Medical Examiner.

Dr Roland completed a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Pharmacology and Biochemistry at the University of Melbourne in 1967. He subsequently obtained his PhD in pharmacology in 1972. He worked as a Lecturer in Pharmacology at the medical school of the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand from 1973 – 1975, then returned to the University of Melbourne to study Medicine, graduating in 1980. After a short stint in England doing research in Clinical Pharmacology, he returned to Australia and has worked continuously in General Practice in Victoria, South Australia, NSW and Queensland. Dr Wheeler practices as a Specialist GP. His main interests are in all fields of General Practice, Clinical Pharmacology and General Medicine, particularly Diabetes and High Blood Pressure. He also teaches Medical Students from Griffith University

Dr. Freda Ruth Peyton qualified at Leeds university in the UK and did further studies in Paediatrics obtaining Diploma of Child Health. Emigrated to Australia in 1977 where she worked in General Practice in Rockhampton. Moved to the Gold Coast in 1982 and has practiced in the Helensvale area since then. Has an interest in paediatrics, womens health and antenatal care. Married with 3 children and 2 gorgeous grandsons.

Dr Elaheh (Ella) Niazishahraki graduated with a Doctorate of Medicine in Iran in 2009. Since then she has worked in various remote communities in Iran and also Tasmania. Worked for 4 years in an award winning practice in Longford Tasmania and was mentored directly by very experienced doctors and a member of the Medical Board of Australia. Having an insufficient number of specialists in Tasmania, she had the chance to manage many high-level chronic and acute disease cases and has gained a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of general medicine. Dr Ella is now a Fellow of Royal Australian College of Practitioners and moved to Gold Coast at the end of 2016 with her family. Dr Ella is interested in all aspect of general practice, particularly in women’s health, pregnancy care, children health and chronic disease management. She also speaks fluent Persian. Dr Ella also does Mirena inserts and removals.

Dr Babak was awarded his degree in doctorate of medicine from an internationally recognized medical university in Tehran, Iran in 2004. He then commenced with his medical career as a GP practicing for 5 years within busy areas in the outskirts of Tehran in Iran which was desperately in need of general practitioners and other medical professionals. He migrated to Australia in 2010 and commenced working as a doctor in a community mental health clinic in Melbourne. Dr Babak then moved to QLD and worked in Gympie Hospital particularly in medical wards for more than twenty months, bringing him substantial experience on various scopes of acute and chronic disease management. Since 2012 he has been working as a full time GP on the Gold Coast, practicing all aspects of general medicine. He passed his fellowship exams with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014. He also speaks fluent Farsi (Persian).
His areas of interest are inclusive of the followings; however, he has not restricted himself to seeing patients of all types.

Dr Behnaz Barahmand graduated in Iran in 2010 and relocated to Australia with her family in 2013. She then obtained fellowship with the Royal Australian College of GPs. Dr Behnaz is interested in all aspects of general medicine with a focus on Women’s Health and Chronic Disease Management. She is fluent in English and Persian.

Dr Joseph Williams completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from Bond University on the Gold Coast. Since completion of his MBBS degree he has practiced medicine at the Princess Alexander Hospital and Queen Elizabeth – II Jubilee Hospital where he gained extensive experience in different fields of medicine – Emergency medicine, Spinal injuries, Dermatology, Gynaecology and General Medicine

Dr Williams has a Diploma in Child Health and enjoys wide range of Minor Surgery and Facial Aesthetics. He has a specialist interest in skin cancer medicine/surgery and cosmetic medicine.

Dr Joseph Williams is a genuine, empathetic doctor and who treats his patients like family members in order to reach their desired health goals. He has a devoted enthusiasm for medicine and ongoing learning.

He is a member and fellow of the FRACGP.

Dr Shakeel Ahmad has been in the medical field for the last 16 years and has graduated (MBBS) in Pakistan in 2004. He is now a Specialist General Practitioner since 2013 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He has recently relocated to the Gold Coast with his family.

Dr Shakeel Ahmad has been working on the Fraser coast region for the past 3 years. Prior to that, he has worked at the Ipswich Hospital. He also worked as a research fellow in USA-Sunny Downstate hospital, New York after completing his USMLE – United States medical licensing exams.

Dr Shakeel works full time and is happy to see new patients with acute, chronic or complex problems. He has a friendly and calm disposition and is happy to consult adults and children.

He is a member and fellow of the FRACGP.
